You can request deletion of your Moksha account and associated personal data at any time, whether or not you currently have the App installed.
HOW TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT
Option 1 — In the App: Go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account, confirm your request and your deletion will be processed immediately.
Option 2 — Without the App: Email support@mokshafoundation.in from your registered email address with the subject "Account Deletion Request," including the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.
WHAT GETS DELETED
Upon account deletion, we permanently delete or irreversibly anonymize:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number, date of birth, gender, location, photo)
- Your chat and session message history
- Your AI Companion conversation history
- Your booking history
- Your device/notification tokens
WHAT WE RETAIN AND WHY
For safety, legal and fraud-prevention purposes, we retain the following even after account deletion:
- De-identified safety/crisis event logs (risk category, timestamp — no message content), retained only as long as necessary for safety auditing purposes, with no way to re-link them to you.
- Transaction/payment records, if any, retained as required by applicable tax and financial record-keeping law.
- Records we are legally required to preserve (e.g., in response to a legal order).
TIMELINE
Your account is deactivated immediately upon request. Associated personal data still in our systems is permanently deleted within 30 days, except as described above.
